Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala, has been ranked in the 151-200 in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Golden Age University Rankings 2018 among 200 institutions from 44 different countries. This ranking was announced on 6th June 2018. The Golden Age University Rankings cover universities established in the two decades between 1945 and 1967. This ranking focuses on five key areas and 13 performance indicators for ranking: teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook.
